No. Each test has its own app, TCF Canada Prep: NCLC Ready or TEF Canada Prep: NCLC Ready, and each app has its own subscription. Cancel the one you no longer need in your store account, then subscribe in the other app.

Subscriptions are managed by Apple or Google. On iPhone or iPad, go to Settings > your name > Subscriptions. On Android, open Google Play > Payments and subscriptions > Subscriptions. The app also links there from Settings > Manage subscription.

Your text or transcript only leaves your phone when you ask for feedback. In versions 1.2.8 and earlier the app also asks you to agree in a pop-up that names where it goes, separately for writing and speaking, and you can withdraw either in Settings > Privacy Center. In later versions, accepting the Terms and Privacy Policy at first launch covers AI feedback, and there is no pop-up.

Speech is transcribed on your device only, never in the cloud. First check that NCLC Ready has microphone and speech-recognition permission. If French on-device recognition is not installed, the app shows how to add it (on Android this is usually the French offline speech pack). You can also type your answer instead.

No. The app never saves or uploads audio and creates no voiceprint. Only the text transcript stays on your device, and it is sent for feedback only if you choose to.

Yes, and you can turn them off. In versions after 1.2.8, usage statistics (Google Analytics for Firebase) are on by default once you accept the Terms and Privacy Policy. In versions 1.2.8 and earlier, adults are asked once; if you tap Not now (Don’t allow in earlier versions), nothing is sent. The app works the same either way, including offline. While they are on, the app sends general events such as screens viewed and score ranges, never your answers, what you write or say, or an advertising ID. From version 1.2.4 the same setting covers crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics), kept 90 days. Turn them off at any time in Settings > Privacy (from version 1.2.4) or Settings > Privacy Center. Google keeps the event data for 2 months.
