Delete your data
NCLC Ready has no accounts, so there is no account to close. Your practice data lives on your device, and you can erase it yourself at any time.
- Open the app and go to Settings > Privacy Center.Tap Delete everything and confirm. This erases your progress, answers, saved essays and transcripts, settings and consent records from the device.
- Or uninstall the app.Removing the app deletes its data from your phone or tablet. Backups you made yourself (for example an exported file) are yours to delete.
- Cancel a subscription separately.Deleting data or the app does not cancel a subscription. Manage it in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.

What about data on our servers?
- We keep no user database. Text you choose to send for AI feedback passes through our server to the AI provider and is not stored by us.
- Our own server keeps a weekly usage counter keyed by a one-way hash of your subscription ID. It cannot identify you without Apple or Google data and deletes itself after 8 days. If you use a free try (only when one is offered), the server also keeps a count of free tries under a one-way hash of a random code made on your phone; it is deleted within 30 days after the free try ends.
- While usage statistics and crash reports are on, Google keeps the statistics (Google Analytics for Firebase) for 2 months and crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics, from version 1.2.4) for 90 days, then deletes them. Delete everything, or turning usage statistics off in Settings > Privacy (from version 1.2.4) or Settings > Privacy Center, stops collection and deletes the app instance ID and any statistics or crash reports not yet sent from your phone.
- Your voice is never recorded or uploaded. Speech is transcribed on your device.
